Old Crosbeian installs Timothy as WM

Brethren of Old Crosbeian Lodge No 4992 welcomed Assistant Provincial Grand Master Kevin Poynton as the principal guest to their installation meeting which was held in the Music Room at Merchant Tailors School, Crosby.

Joining him were grand officers John James, Peter Levick, Jeremey Gaskell, Malcolm Alexander and Keith Griffiths. The Ormskirk and Bootle Group Vice Chairman Graham Chambers was also in attendance as well as acting Provincial grand officers Michael Dutton, Russell Skidmore and Carl Matthews.

The installing master Christopher Taylor, after having thanked his officers for their support during the year, made a wonderful job of installing his successor, Timothy Gerrard.

Excellent performances were given by the other participants with the first and third degree tools explanation from Chris Taylor, second degree tools by Paul Grainger and the address to the brethren of the lodge by Kevin Poynton, who also brought the greetings and best wishes of the PrGM Tony Harrison.

The festive board, which followed the closure of the lodge, was held in the library.
